If this painting looks familiar, that's because it is! A woman saw my first kiss painting hanging in her friend's house and she had to have one of her own.

I often struggle with taking photos of my paintings (in part because I need better lighting), so this time I'm posting two! I can get a good representation of the color, but it rarely captures the texture. The texture is key in this piece, so in the second shot I've pointed a "daylight" lamp down on the painting so you can see the thick paint blobs.

As you can see by its unused condition, this is not my favorite shade! Pretty to paint though. I'll definitely be doing more beauty-related items, as soon as I get through with all of the fruits & veg that Phil bought specifically for me to paint.
