I had an audience in the studio while painting this one... not sure how much that helped, but it was fun!

- I'm a graphic designer and occasional painter in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After seeing many painters attempt a daily painting discipline (typically small paintings done in one day), I thought it would be an excellent way to get back into art after focusing on design since art school. I mostly paint everyday objects with an interest in the things that make life delightful.

Beautiful reds, and it comes across with a much larger feel than only 5x7!
I wanted to say that if this was a daily painting blog, then maybe the world *was* created in 7 days, but you have the word *almost* in there and ruined it for me.
