PS: Keep your eye on the sky tonight for the first total lunar eclipse in 3 years. It's a gorgeous sight - the moon begins to change color, gold and then crimson, as the earth's shadow passes over it. I know ... I'm a nerd.

I saw my first Lunar eclipse September 1979. It was an astronomy class in college. We had one of those telescopes that turn with the earth on a clockwork. Fieldtrip started at 10PM and ended at 3AM out on some deserted mesa. Was actually quite nice until it got cold.
